Michigan Seats - Lets See Some Pics!

Wow, I'm really like the V3500 more now I've seen it on some tractors. I'd like to have the bolt pattern work, but I don't mind to drill some holes. I better order a seat now because I'm getting ready to prime and paint.

Did Michigan make my original seat?

I HAVE USED MY ORIGINAL STEEL PAN AND SWAP IT WITH THE NEW SEAT PAN. AS LONG AS THE REPLACEMENT SEAT IB A MICHIGAN SEAT. IT IS VERY EASY TO SWAP THEM.

That's what I did too.

Just avoid the urge to put a custom paint job on the original pan...

hard for me to put the new Michigan cover on it now that I did.

After reading this thread, I'm guessing it's possible my seat cover and foam could have been OEM or in the least....fit an original seat pan?...It sure looks exactly like some of Michigan seats pictured here..

Where did you get the seat cover and foam? Maybe some dealers still have a few?

I think it would be a great idea to see if the 'horse logo' could be molded into the seat cover. Other than the logo, the seats available from Northern Tool look identical to the original WH seats (lower back) that were used on the rear-engine riders and smaller tractors like C-85, for example. I often wondered if you could use some sort of heated die to press the logo onto the current commercially available seats. Obviously, a factory job would be the best.

If anyone wants to try to organize a minimum order, count me in for at least 3.

Apparently, the low back and mid back versions are still available but apparently the high back version is no longer available. I believe the cat in Don1977's post is lying on what looks like the high back version of the seat. Copperhead's looks like the mid back version or the high back. Hard to tell from the angle. The first seat at the beginning of the thread in Horse Play's post is the low back version and the second seat in his post is the mid back version.

I’m going to revive this thread . Michigan seat company was acquire by Jason-milsco seat company. The problem is they are not producing the Michigan seat V-250 and the V-3500 . These are the the oem style seat minus the  logo and also many other tractor manufacturers. Northern Tool had ran out of these a few years back then got restocked and now sold out again. It’s obvious that these seats are popular. Let’s let them know that there’s a market for these seats , so please call or email them to let them know.
