looking for snow cab installation help...

I recently purchased a snow cab from a private owner, for my 416-8. I finally got it all cleaned up & assembled, & I'm not sure how to mount it to my tractor. I'm really trying to avoid drilling any holes in my tractor if that's possible.

This link doesn't seem to be working for me. I just get a blank white screen. Anyhow, I think I might have an older style cab that's not going to work without some fabrication. I have the same brackets as the ones pictured in the following forum, but the cab is a little different. I'm trying to put this on my 416-8, but now I'm thinking it might be too short.

Click on the "Manuals" tab at the top of this page, from there click on the "implement manuals" go halfway down the second page to find the snow cab manual.

You're thinking your cab is too short...in what way?

I think it's going to interfere with the seat & gas cap, possibly the steering wheel.

You shouldn't have to drill anything.

You use two existing holes in each footrest,

two existing holes that hold the seat mount,

and clamp an additional arm to the edge of each footrest.

There is a zipper in the middle of the back panel that allows access to the fuel tank.

Be sure to get your oil changes/battery/fuse issues resolved now.

You can't open the hood with the cab installed!

There's no zipper in the back of mine. Can anybody tell me where to find the model number of the cab?

The tag for mine is on the inside of the back panel.
