SousaKerry 501 #1 Posted November 9, 2012 On a whim today I stopped in at a local snowmobile junkyard and had a look around and found this. Don't know if there was anymore of it or not I wouldn't know what the frame looked like if I saw it but there is tons of older snowmobiles in the weeds. Guys said that a lot of it will be gone soon to the scrapyard. If anyone wants one let me know and I can get it for ya. It has a few cracks and the headlight trim is missing a piece. CasualObserver 3,408 #2 Posted November 9, 2012 Wish there was more original info on that!!! That's actually a 67-69 Sno-Flite hood that someone put Wheel Horse decals on. There would have been a screen in that big hole in the top. My pure specualtion is that it could have even been factory, or maybe some dealer rebadged it to try to sell it. After they bought the factory, Wheel Horse finished out the 1969 model year of yellow Sno-Flites before they changed over to making stuff red. My parts catalog shows that they were still using Sno-Flite decals, but it would be really interesting to know for sure. There's just so little info available... and the guys who would know are getting older and more forgetful everyday! There's almost no paper documentation at all.
