I found these old photos with the wheel horse dealer a wheel horse 518 h with heavy digging machine

WOW!! That is one serious piece of hardware..

It appears to be Hydraulically driven hence all the hardware bolted to the fender and front of the tractor. Gotta wonder why they didn't just use the standard rototiller attachment??

That thing must really bogged the motor down when it hit harder ground

There still appears to be a long belt running to the rear (top right picture) so i think its still belt driven, just has some other sort of attachment on the front as well?

By golly you are right it is belt driven. But I still wonder what all the hydraulic gear is for?? Seems like a lot of hardware for just a lift cylinder
