Still want to polish it up but for now pulled it off the trailer put it to work on the front lawn and shot a few pics as the light was right. Attached. Now I've got to start getting it ready for the snow. Got the 414-8 with wheel weights, chains, and plow blade. Thrower is next. Family thinks I've gone nuts. They just don't get it. Tankman 3,518 #6 Posted October 27, 2012 Over the summer picked up a 414-8, plow, snowblower, 42" deck. Love it. Yesterday made a "deal" on a 418-8, no plow, two mower decks (side and rear). Chompin' at the bit waitin' on delivery. I know the seller, purchased sight unseen but, I know the condition (and seller). The 414-8 sittin' with the plow, restored. Raider 12 48" deck, usin' for mowin' the back. Soon to be at the ready with its' snow blower. "No name" '73 12 hp Kohler, was used for the front yard today, lot of leaf mulchin' too! leeave96 487 #8 Posted October 27, 2012 That's a mighty fine tractor you've got. I have a later model 314-8 and it is my favorite Wheelhorse. Someone correct me, but for some reason I think the 414-8 came with a K-series Kohler, not the Magnum - BUT both are terrific motors. If your tractor actually did come with the Magnum you did great, it it's a replacement, even better as you would have a newer cast iron block engine with electronic ignition vs points.
