gear Reduction Steering Question

I have heard that it may be possible to take my old Raidar 12 and add the newer steering system off of a 520 with the gear reduction? Is this possible? How much work involved?

It's very possible, but probably not necessary. (unless you install a front end loader)

If the current steering parts are in good condition and well lubed, it should steer fine.

A quicker (and cheaper) way to reduce the steering effort would be to install a larger steering wheel. If you use you Raider to mow grass around many obstacles, you probably won't like the reduction set-up.
