krazy_horse 59 #10 Posted October 3, 2012 Looks good to have sat so long, I like the round hoods!
joebob 45 #11 Posted October 3, 2012 If it was a 704 it would be a recoil start k161 kohler, it could be any of the three models the 604 is a recoil h60 teccy, if it was a 654 it would have been a electric start h60 tec, the only way to tell them apart with out the engine is belt guard or electric start wiring
sorekiwi 761 #12 Posted October 3, 2012 If it was a 704 it would have had a Kohler. A 654 or 604 would have had a Tecumseh. Whatever it was, if it were mine it'd be getting a Kohler!! Nice score!
welderman85 53 #13 Posted October 3, 2012 from what i know the owner picked it of the trash a few years ago with scrap in mind then i think he just kinda tucked it away and forgot about. i didnt dig it out yet i will sat and get better pics i went and looked when he wasnt home so i didnt stay long i had permission but kinda felt weird digging throught his back yard with no one there. it has all the stock wheels its missing alot of stuff but the price was right and i wanted a round hood bad. i have a 5 horse briggs that i might put on it to check the tranny out and enjoy the old girl for a while untill i locate all the correct parts for a good resto. thanks
