rustyoldjunk 127 #1 Posted July 23, 2008 i didnt realize it but when i swapped the smoking 16hp off the C161 auto and installed a good running 12hp onto it,i had to use the belt off the 12hp tractor on the 161 too because the drive belt pulley on the 12hp engine is smaller than the pulley on the 16hp engine.is this because the 16hp was factory mounted on a automatic tractor or are all the pulleys different between the 12hp and 16hp engines?
