First off :WRS: You first need to decide if you want to go Clinton or Kohler. If you want to use a Clinton then a B-1200 is the correct engine Mode. If you want to use a Kohler then a K-90 is the correct Model. Correct engines are a little tuff to find but not impossible. Charlie D-250 may have a Clinton he is in the Dealer Section. Good Luck! And dont forget to post pictures.

:WRS: The belt sizes all depend on on the pulley that is closest to the big gear box. If you have a 6" its a 35" a 6.5" is a 36 and a 7 is a 37" The pulley that goes to the veri drive pulley and the motor is a 20" Any pictures of your tractor for us to see? :wwp: :wwp: :wwp: ~Jake

Welcome to red square! The belt sizes stated above are correct but keep in mind you will have fiddle with veri drive adjustment rod and at the end of the day you may have to mismatch the belt sizes in order to get everything running smooth. There have been times when I have had to run a 19" belt for the engine.

Thanks for your reply,Im new to the net and this site,so I guess I'm doing this rite. Are the motors you have correct for the 55 rj?Running condition? Also Kelly,I have one on a 58 that I have, and that damn thing has compression beyond compression, but once it gets started it runs like no other. It's a clinton as well.Is this your experience with them the same?Give me a price on one. Thanks

Can someone tell me how to identify a rj58 from a rj59 without having the original motor or rail sticker?
