1984 Gt-1600 hood

I am amazed to find out that this lawn tractor has so many parts available. One thing that is not available would be the hood. Are there any other models that share the same hood assembly? I really want to make this lawn tractor a long term implement and make it look as good as it runs. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

All 1983/84 WorkHorse GT models (1100/1142/1600/1642/1800/1848) share the same hood ~ or a hood from a 1985 & newer 308 / 310 / 312 / 314 / 315 / 316 / 414 / 416 / 417 / 418 / 420 / 512 should work too.

Should be a direct fit.

I actually have a WorkHorse GT-1142 hood on my 1990 416-H.

This is a GT 1848 with a 312 hood and a C121 rear fender. Mine didn't have the original muffler so I had to put 1inch blocks between the hood and hinges to raise it to clear the muffler.

Thanks for all the help. I purchased a NOS 420 lse hood off eBay and it gives my old gt1600 a whole new look. Now I need to remove, clean, and paint the other panels on the tractor. Now the search begins for the decals.
