Torino 14 #26 Posted March 4, 2013 I will have to get some. It's weird I get the same "cold" almost every year at this time give or take two or three weeks. It follows the same script. Every day i am stuffed up but still blowing my nose like crazy and have bad drainage. 1st day bad sore throat. 2nd day sore throat goes away. 3rd day slight cough. 4th day cough gets a little better. 5th day cough goes away. 6th day i start filling better. This is the sixth day so I am one the down hill. It is exactly the same every time I get it. I have often thought it was allergies but everything is still dead at this time of year. Very strange. Even if it where allergies you would not think it would be exactly the same every time.

Torino 14 #28 Posted March 4, 2013 According to this the engine is a 1994.
SousaKerry 501 #29 Posted March 6, 2013 Sorry the lighting is terrible in this picture but you can just barely make out the filter in between the jug and the belt guard. Yeah you have to remove the belt guard to change the filter... The engine specs say it was from a cub cadet.
Torino 14 #30 Posted March 6, 2013 Do you have to do anything to install the filter other than take the port cover off? What oil filter did you use?
SousaKerry 501 #31 Posted March 6, 2013 Sorry I have no information on it as it came with the engine. Only thing I can say is to look at the IPL's for Kohler K17-II. Kinda pricey but this may be the kit you are looking for. http://www.jackssmallengines.com/Products/KOHLER/Oil-Filter/Oil-Filter-Kits/5270204S/763649/s
JackC 617 #32 Posted March 6, 2013 There is an oil filter base or a remote base that replaces the port cover. Here is an article on it. Just ignore the green blob and focus on the engine. http://www.weekendfreedommachines.com/discus/messages/335/1323.html
