SS Muffler Shield

Recommended Posts

Tankman

My recent acquisition, a 414-8, Kohler has the typical 12" long x 4" dia (approx) horizontal muffler.

I've seen stainless steel slotted muffler guards/shields. Where might I find one? Are these Kohler or

Wheel Horse specific?

Don't need one, just want to put one on the 414-8.

Grew up in the Bronx. Need the SS shield "bling."

I've owned only six Wheel Horses. Is CT tryin' to corner the WH market? :laughing-rofl::laughing-rofl: :laughing-rofl:

I think there were many Wheel Horse's sold in CT. Most decent ones have been snatched up, you will ONCE in a while still see a nice one pop on on C/L.

Nah, there are still quite a bit of Horse's here, even with all the guys sneakin over the line and takin em elsewhere. :ychain: For some reason this state had quite a few dealers and at one time they sold very well. CT. did their share keepin Wheel Horse in Biz. :)

The English Jag collectors hate Americans. The American Jag enthusiasts bought 'em up in Great Britain.

Shipped the collectible Jag's to the good old US of A.

I have a NOS heat shield with the protective covering still over it. I might be interested in selling it. Shoot me a pm sometime if interested and we will see what we can do.

I made a custom chrome shield for an RJ. Took an Auto Zone chrome tail pipe, cut it in half length wise and then tig welded the ends to get the proper length

Sent you a PM back in regards to the shield. I have also attached it here for you to view. The white look is still the protective film that was placed on it so that it wouldn't mess up the stainless. Not 100% sure if this is the correct one that you are needing or not. Those are not cracks on the shield itself....it is just the corners of the protective film that are starting to peel away.

Just let me know when you get a chance.
