Tankman 3,518 #4 Posted September 2, 2012 I saw the skid on Craig's List, I think he was (is) asking $2,000.00 FOB Mass. Would make the ALL WHEEL HORSE PULL look color co-ordinated .

AMC RULES 37,124 #6 Posted September 2, 2012 Yeah, they closed down the tractor teeter totter this year. Imagine the liability with that thing.
Trouty56 565 #7 Posted September 2, 2012 The idea was only for fun. It would make a mess that's for sure and the fairground would not allow it. But if it was there I would bring a tractor or two to give it a try.
Kelly 1,029 #8 Posted September 2, 2012 We have a sled here at the MI show, the few people that do try it with stock tractors come away scratching their head saying I thought I could pull it, but only move it a few feet or not at all, I know they could take some weight out of the sled, so the stock tractors could pull it better, but guys get the idea their tractors are not as tough as they thought they were, and that is with the weight at the back, just think if they moved the sled enough to make the weight come forwards. Ken B 3,164 #9 Posted September 2, 2012 Yeah, they closed down the tractor teeter totter this year. Imagine the liability with that thing. In my opinion the teeter totter would be much safer if nut roasters are no longer allowed to go on it. They flip way too easy if the front tires aren't loaded. I hope it isn't off limits next yr. The kids love it and its a ton of fun to watch them. I'm sure we could get a few volunteers to supervise it for a few hrs. a day no problem. I'd give up some of my pickin time.....
larryandnell 3 #10 Posted September 2, 2012 They used to have garden tractor pulls at Pa. in a animal barn for stock tractors. A few hot tractors kept tearing the sled up so they quit pulling.
