StWeiler 6 #1 Posted August 29, 2012 Well I don't know what I got myself into, but I just couldn't pass this up. No spark at the moment (PO says it used to run till he parked it 2 years ago). Came with 3 different sets of tires. Dual spacers (not so sure I'll want duals on it) 36" deck 48" front blade Chains 2 seats Fenders (that were removed to accomdate the larger tires) a few other misc. things

KC9KAS 4,742 #4 Posted August 29, 2012 That is a pretty "MEAN" looking machine with those big tires! I'm not sure, but I don't think that is a Wheel Horse snow plow you have there.
StWeiler 6 #5 Posted August 29, 2012 It's not a WH plow, but it was fabbed up to be fitted to the 753. In either case it it works I'll certainly use it~
Jake Kuhn 1,573 #6 Posted August 30, 2012 Very nice tractor! I like those big tires on there! ~Jake
rydogg 186 #7 Posted August 30, 2012 Very nice score . If you are looking for a correct Wheel Horse snow plow I have an extra I may part with if you want to make a trip to southern Minnesota or maybe we could meet somewhere in between since you are in Iowa. Coadster32 793 #8 Posted August 30, 2012 Looks good from here. I also like the big tires. I propped up the seat a couple of inches on my 854 and my 753. Makes it "feel" like a bigger tractor also. Good luck with it.
AMC RULES 37,144 #9 Posted August 30, 2012 Cool looking tractor, looks like you got a good deal.
StWeiler 6 #10 Posted August 30, 2012 Can anyone point me to a manual (parts, owners) for this thing?
StWeiler 6 #11 Posted August 30, 2012 Well...she's up and running! Very excited about that. Dang those front tires are hard to keep on the ground (gonna have to get some front weight). Has a bit of a miss, so I must have missed something when I cleaned the carb. Now to figure out how to hook that funky looking deck up!
70 dart man 9 #12 Posted August 30, 2012 i love the 753 they are so cool nice score zach
StWeiler 6 #13 Posted August 31, 2012 Leaking like a sieve out of the oil base pan. Time to locate a gasket kit, while I'm at it might as well throw some rings in her. Anyone that owns one of these...would you mind taking some pics of the underside of the tractor with the deck mounted? I think I am missing some brackets or something. Can't tell if it's just angle iron or if they are cut to a certain pattern. I appreciate the help.
StWeiler 6 #14 Posted August 31, 2012 Very nice score . If you are looking for a correct Wheel Horse snow plow I have an extra I may part with if you want to make a trip to southern Minnesota or maybe we could meet somewhere in between since you are in Iowa. I will likely take you up on that! It may be a couple weeks but I'm definitely interested in an original plow/mount for this. I bet it's a blast to use pushing snow. Any ideas where to find a front weight box?
