Finally caught something worthy of a picture. My wife and I have hauled in loads of Perch and Pumpkin Seeds but today I pulled in three Largemouth Bass!

Are you bottom fishing with live bait? Or Carolina rigging rubber worms?

Bottom fishing with worms. I nailed two of them 5 minutes apart! That felt great! About 40 minutes for the third one (with a Pumpkin Seed in between). I've never had good luck with the rubber baits, probably just dont know how to properly use em    .

When the time and conditions are right, them top water lures are the big producers too Mike.

I love top water baits when they're hitting too! Also prefer crank baits to cover as much ground as possible. 

Here's a pic of the biggest largemouth I ever caught. Estimate around 10 lbs, took a pic and let her go to hopefully catch another day.

Kind of rare to get any that size up here in New England and it only took about 20 years to catch it.

 

We need to get a RedSquare fishing tournament going. Maybe in the fall. $25 entry fee, Most bass takes 1/2 the kitty and the other half goes to Max Nunn's's charity.
