diesel cowboy 263 #3 Posted August 25, 2012 Nice. I'll never understand why people scrap perfectly good machines like that. I've run into that too but it was at the scrap yard and I was too late to save them. At least you saved them. Good deal

APPALACHIAN EDGE 18 #5 Posted August 25, 2012 I started a thread on another site a while back about the things people scrap. You would not believe the treasures that get sent to china & melted down & then sold back to us at twice the cost

AMC RULES 37,124 #8 Posted August 26, 2012 A most excellent save. Where in Buffalo are you from? I lived in West Seneca as a kid, graduated from OPHS.
DoctorHfuhruhurr 137 #9 Posted August 26, 2012 Do you know why he was going to scrap them? They look decent. It just seems odd. But I'm a hoarder so I have a hard time scrapping anything. Do you know what if anything is majorly wrong with them?
Tankman 3,518 #10 Posted August 26, 2012 A great save! Look new enough to me! I've purchased much "junque" in the past. Would have leaped on that scrap pile! Welcome and good luck with the Horses.

Cutlas3391 776 #12 Posted August 26, 2012 Well the story is I hunt down old Wheel horses for awhile now then I soft restore some and use them around my yard. I also sell some of the ones I barn pick or field pick for other people to restore them. These two have compression in them just have to go through them to get them running.
