Putzed away the morning today, attempting to straighten out the new 702 hood.

Ended up leaving most of the minor dents, and removing a bit of the "patina" instead.

I'm thinkin' I'm liking it for now...fits much better, yet retains most of it's as found character.

How did you get it down to bare metal? Doesn't look like just sanding. Thanks

No sanding. Acid wash, and a scotch brite pad...a few times, to get it to this stage.
