squonk 40,740 #1 Posted August 11, 2012 Had these pics sent to me. I'm glad I didn't see this at the Steam Pageant. Some people have way to much time and imagination! someone in Minnesota built this. Figures. A self powered road worthy manure spreader :)
AMC RULES 37,102 #2 Posted August 11, 2012 Must've been built for the pageant king and queen to do hot laps at the show...I see a throne for both.

Stigian 1,234 #6 Posted August 12, 2012 Love it... It's more than worth building it just to see the look on peoples faces as you drive past :D
Jake Kuhn 1,554 #7 Posted August 12, 2012 And you notice the brand new radio sitting in the dash! :text-coolphotos:
Don1977 604 #8 Posted August 12, 2012 He's got the rings on the double tree mounted in the back, should have installed shoulder belts above the commode lids. The wash tub fan shroud is a classic. It diffidently needs spinners on the wheels the pliers to stretch rubber bands to make steers.
JimD 3,345 #9 Posted August 12, 2012 I can see Uncle Jed, Granny, Jethro and Ellie May riding through town in this. What a great imagination to come up with the concept, let alone the build. Would love to go for a ride in it and spread a little..................... joy! :ROTF:
grnlark 479 #10 Posted August 12, 2012 Maybe its just me - but I dont get it at all. There is obviously a lot of time invested in it and undoubtebly money too. Why? And what do you do with it after its done? Kinda dumb in my opinion.
JimD 3,345 #11 Posted August 12, 2012 I think it was probably built to be a parade vehicle. A funny look at country life, if you will. Kind of like some of us who restore a Wheel Horse to even better than new condition (not me obviously) to take to shows and parades. The same sort of thing i guess, except that the person who built this is more into the "behind" the tractor accessories. :)

Don1977 604 #15 Posted August 13, 2012 It was definitely built on a family farm that as been in the family for years. All the parts were just scrap metal so the cost was only time invested. My guess is the person or persons who built this just likes to build things. I think they did a great job.
hm12460 53 #16 Posted August 13, 2012 You are correct, way too much time on their hands.
