Martin 2,133 #2 Posted August 12, 2012 this is for a 1057, but should be the same as your 1257. the deck is a 42" sd..... i dont have a diagram handy, but im sure from the pics below you could work out how the belts are installed.... if i can find a pic of the belt routing decal thats on the decks i will post it too..... the belt from the pto goes on the upper part of the two groove pulley on the center spindle Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Martin 2,133 #3 Posted August 12, 2012 this decal is from a mid 70s deck, the belt routing for the pto to deck belt is only slightly different (uses two pulleys in front of the front axle) but the general direction the belt follows is basically the same. from all these pics you should be fine......
