GT 1142 resto and a few questions

this is my first resto it used to mow my lawn but i was given a new cud cadet (mtd) so now i can go through the heard and redo them all one at a time.

sorry for the not so great pics.

i have it all stripped down except the lift lever in the frame how do i remove it? do i have to get the brass bushing out? Once i get that off and the rain lets up everything is going to get sand blasted then painted. Dose any remake the workhorse decals? thank you

Parts are at the blaster hes pretty backed up so it might be a bit might be a while on that. So in the mean time I have been looking at paint options. I bought a few quarts valspar black before it was all gone at my local tsc But I didn't buy any other colors.I lucked out today I went to Saginaw on a family vist and swang into tsc just for the beck of it and on the shelf were two quarts of Ford grey witch is close tonight for me. So the last two cans of valspar there were just what I was searching for.
