WH Dump Cart Rim Repair. "Help"

Recommended Posts

jhunsch

Trying to get started with repaires. I am thinking to spot weld metal strips on the inside of the rim, & fill in the out side with a good strong fill.

And then relocate the valve stem hole. Any suggestions would help.

Try a new wheel barrow rim, that is what I used on the last one, I did have to use a 1" spacer behind the rim to make up it being a little short, hub wise.

Way too invoilved to make that repair on such a common wheel. I would check a local farm supply store or maybe a Lowes etc and get a wheelbarrow rim like as has been said above. Probably about $20 and there will be less heartache and aggrevation. Good luck with your search and send some pics once its all fixed up!!!

About $35 each with tires around here, like I said you may have to make a sleave, I used a piece of tubing.
