Three point mower

OK guys I have a three point rear mower off my D that I use on my C-195 but I need a new belt on the drive in deck. NLA on the right one, anyone else have to replace theirs? I don't like spending $25.00 on belts that aren't the right length and not being able to return them after getting dirty. I'm up to a B-138 but that is still too short.

Suggestions ?

What model is your deck? The parts listing for my 5-0900 60" 3 pt mower call for a belt #103236 still availble from Toro for only $130 (or more depending on source).

These decks were made by Woods based on their popular and widely used L59 series ( I have one of those as a belly mount for my Case Tractor.) The spindles bearings and seals are all availible from Woods and Woods part number cross to CR/ Timken etc. for much less $$$.

The belt you need is a Woods 24004 (that is on mine now). After market belts can be had for around $20-30. The descriptions vary bu tehy seem to be about 133-135" one spource says B-132 wquivilent. Are you sure you have your routing correct? There is a fair amount of tension adjustment possible.

Thanks Paul! I don't know model no. no tag. The routing is very twisted up isn't it? I'll check my sources for those belt numbers , I went to our local parts supplier here.

I tought of drilling a new closer hole on the one idler pulley, or putting a smalleer pulley on take up pulley which I have shortened up all the way.

Maybe this will help....do you have the manual? I have a lot of the woods equivalent part numbers for spindle bearing seals etc.
