Didn't really know where to post this....Went to the County Fair this evening and watched (for the 2nd year) The Garden Tractor Demo Derby.

Fortunately, there were no Whell Horses involved!

Thats funny,I went to exactly the same thing tonight. Luckily there were only simplicitys and mtds out there,and all the simplicitys transmissions locked up and the mtds all got flat tires LOL If I would of taken a horse out there I guarantee I would of won,but I am not going to wreck a horse LOL Jake

I've never seen a GT derby in person, I have seen lots on the Internet, and no thanks, I like my legs to walk on, and from what I've seen a old 60's cub is the way to go, with the cast iron nose, a bullet proof rear end, and a K series Kohler, and depending on the car derby, you can make $10,000 a night.

That looked like fun!! Maybe we could have one at the Charlotte show next year Kelly! That's one way to thin out the mtd tractors. No WH tractors though. Needs to be stamped steel frame and vertical shaft engine only, and stamped steel front axle. That would be fare to the collector crowd.

You pay the insurance to add that to the event, we have a pretty big bill as it is for a 3 day event.
