echris 1,425 #1330 Posted July 2, 2020 I'm sure many of you guys have seen this one before, but I can listen to it over and over again. Who needs a drummer when you have a sweet, sweet idling tractor to keep time. 1 1

JCM 9,130 #1332 Posted July 2, 2020 I don't know why this made me think of Bill Kirchen playing Hot Rod Lincoln.

WHX?? 48,814 #1339 Posted July 7, 2020 (edited) I'll second that Tom... saw him many many moons ago in a honky tonk and will never forget it. One great musician and a great American. Spent most of my desk jockey time this aft listening to. Somebody please put up a tune I can't do it on a dumb phone with no internet. tunahead72 2,412 #1343 Posted July 9, 2020 I've been on a Midnight Oil kick the last few days, one of the few '80's bands I can stand to listen to (don't mean to offend, just my own personal taste). This started last week after listening to another YouTuber on a loosely related topic, just reminded me how passionate these guys were and still are about the issues they care deeply about. Anyway... It's just a thought. 1

Highway star. Then there new one. Throw my bones. I’ve also been listening to the original recording of Jesus Christ Supper Star. With Ian singing The part of Jesus.
tunahead72 2,412 #1347 Posted July 16, 2020 Good stuff there. That whole period with Gillan on vocals is my favorite (including the reunion), but I do still love hearing "Hush" every once in a while. I didn't know they had a new album coming out, thanks for the update.

They sound pretty good for a bunch of 75 year olds 😊

r356c 375 #1350 Posted July 20, 2020 (edited) Laptop speakers won't do it for this tune. Back in the day... when shopping for audio equipment everyone knew to bring your copy of Pink Floyd Dark Side Of The Moon into the store and drop the needle on the Time track to see what the system you were considering had going on. As I recall 90 percent of candidate stereo systems failed miserably. Philip Campbell - Seeking Florida is in it's second wave of Covid. Quite a few local hospitals are out of ICU beds, or nearly so. Steve Orchard - Armistice Nearly an earworm... Everyone likes retro MTV disco era videos of dogs in sunglasses. Right? Edited July 21, 2020 by r356c
