Hey Eric, that boy has definitely got some spare time on his hands for sure. That was different and he even had a surprised look on his face at his accomplishments.

reminds me of Tom Morello

creates some crazy sounds with guitar that sounds like synthesizer / samples

often uses the volume knobs and pickup switches

I ran across this video on YouTube the other day. I was at this show that night, I was there to see Hot Tuna, walked in and these guys that called themselves Blues Traveler had just started playing, and all I could do was just stand there and listen and watch and smile, just totally mesmerized. I'd seen Tuna many times over the years, and this was the first time I'd ever seen a band open for them that excited me as much as Blues Traveler did that night. This was probably six months before their first album was released. R.I.P. Bobby Sheehan.

This isn't music, but I ran across this on YouTube last night, and just absolutely cracked up, it's one of the funniest sketches I've seen in a long time...

I got an email yesterday telling me that Sonny Landreth will be playing at one of my favorite small local theaters in June, and that he just released a new album a couple of weeks ago.  Here's the title track, sounds good so far...

Nice to have Joe back. Rocked out to “Surfing with the Alien” for a long time. Still one of my favorite albums.

I’ve really been on a Mongolian Throat Singing kick lately.  When I’m in work mode, I put The Hu Band on my Pandora.  There are numerous artists, some girl lead singers too.  I feel something spiritual, yet understand zero bit of the lyrics.  I could be jamming to a song about Kermit the Frog or dirty dishes, for all I know!

And from the chants of Mongolia to harmonies and good tunes!

Brown & Gray is a band that I’m not sure if you would call pop or country.  There’s a bit of a mix going on, but they are a great sounding duo!

But never forget to “Fill it up when the ice cubes clink.”

This song Stay a Little Longer is one of my favorite life recordings from Brothers Osborne.  The rhythm and the way the song flows is just outstanding.

Lzzy Hale from Halestorm has an incredibly powerful voice.  We recently found this song of theirs and really enjoyed it too.  It’s a great love song / ballad.

I've always had a pretty wicked liking for strong female rock singers. Started out with Joan Jett and Lita Ford in The Runaways.

Check out Doro Pesch.

Young fella introduced me to the music of Halestorm back about 6 or 8 years ago I guess. Been a huge Lizzie fan since.
