Classic right there Ed ... I got hooked on them in the late 70's, Have most of their stuff and read every book on them. This is always a good read. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Allman_Brothers_Band On 10/5/2021 at 10:53 PM, Jeff-C175 said: Huge ABB fan! Saw them four of five times. At least four times that I remember. Rolling Stone ranked them 52nd on their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time in 2004. RS is on crack too...easily in the top ten! Little known fact ...Duane was hiding cocaine in his hands in this well known pic. Edited October 7, 2021 by WHX?? 2

c-series don 8,689 #1856 Posted October 7, 2021 I was listening to a rock star from the 80’s today, Billy Squire. When I say listening, I mean listening to him speak as he, his hot wife and myself were having a conversation together. We (the highway department) were paving the road in front of his house when he came out to see what was going on. We chatted for a while and at the end of the conversation he told me his name and I said “like Billy Squire the 80’s rock star?” He laughed and said yes that’s me! We shook hands and I went back to work! 3

tunahead72 2,412 #1868 Posted October 15, 2021 @Jeff-C175 I'm looking forward to listening to the tunes that you posted last night, but it will have to wait until nobody else is in the house, I'll want to turn 'em up. Thanks!
