How rare is the grader blade. How much is it worth. How handy is it. Does it work great?

Lot of them were at the show for sale. $250-$400 were the asking prices. I love my homemade grader!

Not rare at all. Usually find one on ebay every couple weeks or so. Non-show prices range from $100-400 depending on whether it's the 40 inch or 50 inch, condition, and how much someone really wants/needs it. (Every now and then someone will find one under $100, but those deals are few and far between.) Quite handy if you have a small gravel driveway or do some contour landscaping around the house. I think it works pretty well. I have a 40 inch.

I think it is a very nice attachment to have at my house, I see them for sale fairly often, in the $200-300 range, I have a 50" I use alot, and 2, 40" on tractors for show.

I found this 40" or 42" (i forget) last winter for $85. for my 606. It was powder coated and looks pretty nice. I just need to find or make something to connect it to the lift lever.

Terry, search his old posts in the implement forum, pretty sure there's pics. Hard to search and link from my phone, otherwise I'd just link it.

I grade over 1/2 mile of shared driveway twice a year with mine. In my eyes its priceless! I use to use a couple different things I towed behind my truck. I scratched the truck. Used a lot of gas, swore a bunch.... you get the picture. The end result with the grader blade and my lil red tractors makes me happy!

Terry - PM our member Scott Moreau (SMoreau). He and another member have fabbed up the correct lift link (it's curved) for that blade and it works GREAT! I've got one and couldn't be happier! My 40" has gotten a major workout leveling a piece of ground for a storage shed I've got coming. It's saved me HOURS of shoveling and raking, and I use the weight of the tractor with wheel weights to pack down the fill afterwards. I paid $200 for mine two years ago and it came all rusty and grimy having been rescued from a storage unit somewhere in Florida. You got a GREAT deal on yours!

Here is one I built, cut down a 60" grader blade to 48" and 2 - 2" channels are the main frame.

I've graded a friend's back yard, created a swale and moved a fair bit of top soil at one time with it. Mine is a 50". I think they cut better when the blade is angled. I made up a solid link but with the hydraulics you can stop yourself dead pretty quick. I also graded another friends comercial parking lot which was covered with stone. They work really well, just have to take your time and remember the size of the tractor you're operating.

I would love to find a mid-blade for my charger 12. No one has them here in FL, at least no one that's willing to part with it!

Willing to part with them I think is the problem. Now I'm sure they didn't make a bazillion of them

but those that have them know they are so handy they just won't part with them.
