kpinnc 12,534 #4 Posted July 16, 2012 When in doubt, there's a simple way to check: Jack up the rear end so the rear wheels can spin freely. Turn one by hand, and take note of the direction the other turns in. If it turns the same direction, it's a 10 pinion. If it turns the opposite direction, it's an 8 pinion- though the same is true for 4-pinions. Only the 10-pinion will turn the opposite wheel in the same direction. If the opposite wheel does not turn at all, it's a BROKEN 10 pinion... :ychain: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
