Martin 2,131 #1 Posted July 14, 2012 I'm sitting in pizza hut posting this on my phone because I can't wait until I get home to post on my computer. Just picked up a c160 with excellent looking deck and snowblower. Very straight and complete tractor and nice looking attachments. Here's the only pic I have at the moment, more to come .......... Like I need any more on my plate right now....... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Martin 2,131 #10 Posted July 14, 2012 What? There's no cars in the garage. Hey, I have the biggest garage in the neighborhood and all our cars/ trucks have been outside all year round for years....... It's only 24 x 40, nowhere near enough room for cars..... smoreau 658 #11 Posted July 14, 2012 :ROTF: But that means the more you buy the less room you will have for fixing them up :ychain:

Martin 2,131 #15 Posted July 14, 2012 Now I have a story to tell here. Boss at work told me about this one. A neighbor had it. I told my boss that I might be living in the garage if I even hint about looking at another one after getting the c125 last week. So I get home, wife calls to let me know she's on her way home. I thought I'd try my luck and mention something about it............. She said? So what did she say? She said, "well, let's go look at it, you might get it cheap"......... I just about fell over....... And the rest is, as they say, history..... Oh, and just in case you didn't know, my wife is awesome!!!!!!! smoreau 658 #21 Posted July 14, 2012 It sounds like a you will need to make a shelf setup for tractor storage. You could put 6 in the place of 3 and have more room to get more I don't have the wife problem and my daughter likes all the tractors, so I can get as many as I want As long as she gets what she needs. I think Gabby likes showing off the tractors to her friends! She talks like she did all the work fixing them up, witch is fine with me as she is proud of her tractor.

Forest Road 594 #23 Posted July 14, 2012 I know the feeling! Great find! I brought home a C160 last month. My wife wants me to get rid of A tractor. Its not happening! I think most of our wives feel the same way towards these things. They'll get over it, I hope :eusa-think:
neil 2,409 #24 Posted July 14, 2012 Great find Martin beware of the mrs enthusiasm it may cost you a pair of shoes for her or something would still be worth it though to keep her sweet congratulations on your latest find
Martin 2,131 #25 Posted July 14, 2012 just finished outside for the day, got it running, was a bad coil and condenser, but i also cleaned the fuel system and replaced hose, shut off valve and tank bung. drained the engine and hydro oil, flushed the engine with diesel, and installed a new toro filter on the trans.... tow valve was stuck, so also had to free up that. gave it a clean up and fixed a few small things. i think i got a good one here, couldnt be happier with how it runs, everything works well, hydro lift is a little damp but not dripping, hopefully it will be ok for a while. the trans is a little jumpy when starting to move in either direction. so i need to work on the cam plate area. the plate is a little torn up so i will get a new one and fix any minor issues there..... heres a bunch of pics on today, getting familiar with another horse...... corn was flying out of the old muffler when first turning it over..... dash is in real nice condition..... nice steering wheel...... taken a few punches to the eyes...... some farm engineering........ muffler is loose in the inlet pipe so i took it off and replaced with a round muffler temporarily. will eventually fix original one.... more farm engineering...... close up of muffler...... temporary replacement..... old and new..... nice choke and throttle controls, wiring is going to need some attention...... tank ready to go back in...... all cleaned up...... its getting crowded in here...... snowblower that came with tractor deck that came with it too.......
