Stainless Onan heat shields

at the the recent WH show, I thought someone was selling stainless steel heat shields for 20 Hp Onan. perhaps it was just just regular metal that was intended to be painted the matte OEM black?

hey don heres a couple of my home made s.s. shield on my 516. made from .065 s.s. tubeing. i just cut a section out of a piece of 4 in tube. hit it with a red scotch bright pad. but it could be polished. Jay

Jay, great looking mod! I meant the adjacent heat or dust shield that is normally painted black think it has 3 pieces the long one and 2 endcaps thought someone at the show had them in SS.

watch out for the spinning belt w/o the beltguard.. I have mine off and in process of painting it

don that tractor is not curently running, i removed the belt guard to do the vent mod to . it may be the one you now own! Jay
