Jim_M 178 #17 Posted July 15, 2012 Club rules vary by regions. There are 3 clubs that have pulls within a reasonable distance of me and all 3 have different rules for the various classes. Usually the major differences in the rules concern tires, weight, fuel and RPM's.

baerpath 517 #19 Posted July 15, 2012 Thats why years ago the larger NY clubs went to 1050 and 1100lb for 10hp stocks through Super Stock same weight as NQS. So we pull with four clubs in NY. With almost all having the same rules some minor difs but not much. Modified and above run the same weights through the state also 1350/1450 and super at 1600/1650 and V8 at 1800lb Duane (be nice if more clubs would join into national weight class's)

Jim_M 178 #21 Posted July 15, 2012 Our club follows NQS rules for 30 cubes, stock altereds, pro stocks and super stocks. The stock classes are another story. Our stock class rules allow for a lot more engine mods than most clubs will allow, but they fit the stock altered classes of the other clubs so we can still pull with the other clubs. The problem is when they come to pull with us, they're not very competitive in our stock classes. I agree Duane, it would be nice if there were nationwide standardized rules, you would be able to pull anywhere.
