USLMRA Finals

Recommended Posts

Rooster

Alot of you know I race Lawn Mowers with the United States Lawn Mower Racing Association.

Labor day weekend we race "Finals" in Delaware Ohio.

This year a few of the RS members are coming down to hang out and root me on, hopefully....lol!

How much interest would there be in having a small event of sorts in conjunction with the race?

I thought maybe just a showing of tractors or maybe a short competition of some sorts?

Before racing starts every day we line up around the track for the National Anthem and Prayer....a Line up of Horses would be cool for that!

There could be NO tractor racing as this is an insured event and our tractors would not pass the requirements of a racing tractor!!

But maybe something else?

There is a pull on Sunday morning, if there is interest in that I could get info on it.

Even if it is just a small gathering of tractors representing the RS/WH Community I think it would be cool!

This could be a door opener to many things. The Delaware county fairgrounds is always looking for events.

SO, how many of you would be interested?

How about a WHeel Horse Color Gaurd? WHen the racers go out to parade for the National anthem they are led by Wheel Horses with American Flags?

Really wish I could make it,but it is 5 hrs away :banghead:

Google Coffeyville, Ks to Delaware, Oh...lol...your right next to it!

There will be lots of guys from Michigan there, if you hit the highway on your Suburban, with a sign that says ; "Need Ride to MOWHIO"...someone will carry ya!

"Need" to be there I'd say by 4 or 5 maybe? the Taping Starts at 7:00, need to be organized by then.

I'd get there earlier though.

I will be there Friday evening some time.

Fellas I am not going to be able to make this Race.

My health problems have come back up and I simply cannot do it.

For those that know me at all, you know that this weekend is more or less the highlight of my year, to have to miss it comes at great pain.

This year, having some RS members there was going to make it even more special!

I apologize,t there are few things more important than racing to me...but staying healthy is one of them.
