WH252-H 4 #1 Posted June 24, 2012 My 252-H has an eaton 700-003, c251-cw Is there any way to reduce the jerky behavior when stopping then reversing using the hydro lever? Most hydro's have some type of spring trunion to help cancel out the jerkiness. This trans does not have that and I thought maybe someone had discovered a trick for it. WH252-H 4 #2 Posted June 26, 2012 Oh come on! No one has figured this out! With all the "do-it yourselfers" & the "must make it better" folks out there. Not one suggestion. (disclaimer: please keep suggestions limited to subject. None needed on where I should go or where to put this question.) Well I am disappointed in you kids! (this means I don't have any ideas either) Thanks for viewing though!
WH520 17 #3 Posted June 26, 2012 I never had that problem with my 700 but my 1100 is quite the jerky little pump when slowing down, especially reverse.
dcrage 628 #4 Posted June 27, 2012 Yeah, me also -- I hoping to see some answers -- My Eaton 1100 does the same thing -- It is somewhat reassuring to hear that other people have similiar symtoms -- Maybe it isn't anything bad going on with my 418-A
