Mr. 856 170 #159 Posted January 16, 2016 No chain setups for dual wheels? I like the look but what's to really gain?

More flotation, wider track which means more stability on slopes, more weight which can mean more traction. On my Work Horse, I prefer a skinny tire that acts like a pizza cutter, digging down to hopefully get to some solid footing eventually. Narrower tire means more ground pressure but less area to spread it on. Works for its operating environment. These tractors look sweet though, and if I ever lay hands on an older round good I'll be hunting duals for it soon enough
DennisThornton 4,769 #161 Posted January 16, 2016 Wider stance is very important when using a FEL in addition to what others have mentioned. Some have broken axles though... Caution, knowledge and good common sense comes in either way!
