GT14 tiller lower seal replacement help

So I got this tiller a few weeks ago and topped of the gear oil yesterday to find out its leaking pretty good through the lower seals. I was able to get the tines off one side ( the other side isnt coming loose too well) anyway, are these seals supposed to be replaced from the outside or do I need to crack open the case to get them out? Also does anyone know a napa number for it? Looks like a 1.25 Id by 1.5 od. Tips an experience greatly welcomed here!
