michiganmike 6 #1 Posted June 14, 2012 I want to thank everyone for the very warm welcome to Red Square that you have given me. What with Summer being here and lawns and other tractor/motorcycles/motorhome upkeep, I haven't had a chance to do much so far except remove the WEIGHTS ! and drain the old gas. Is there such a thing as a downloadable Factory Manual for the 953 ? 1

Martin 2,133 #4 Posted June 14, 2012 thats the same manual as whats in the file section of the forum under 1054. the 1054 is similar but has a few differences. probably the biggest would be the steering box. i will upload the 953 manuals i have into the files section, its much more comprehensive than the temporary 1054 manual that i uploaded previously (Tractor 1964 1054 #A-7136.pdf) heres the link to them....

HorseWhisperer 243 #6 Posted June 16, 2012 Hey Mike,Its my option that 953/1054 were the best Wheel Horses made! You are so lucky to have a gem!

Hammerhead 817 #8 Posted June 19, 2012 Way to go Mike! I love the 953's also. I have 3 of them, a 1054 and a 1054-A for the pile! These were considered a luxury tractor back then, with the electric start, head and tail lights, hydraulic lift and all the ground clearance you'd ever need! Your's looks pretty good to me! Nice pile of stuff to go with it too. Keith
