Henslers Nursery Wheel Horse Weekend near hamlet, IN.

Anyone know when the Henslers Nursery Wheel Horse show and trailride near Hamlet, Indiana is this year? There web site has not been updated from last year. Tride calling but the person out there was not very knowledgeable about the event.

Wheel Horse Kid, I have never been to it. My understanding is they have a pretty good turn out. I don't think it's a swap meet or anything I could be wrong. I know they used to have kind of an Ice Cream social with it. They have a parade that they drive the tractors around the christmas tree farm. We get are tree from there and it is a big place. Before you take off on the parade make sure you got plenty of gas. I was thinking of taking a few tractors, enough for my wife and daughter to drive. Like I said I have never been to it, just heard it was a good time. Be great if RS members would show up and have a long line of Horses going through the trees on Parade.

It looks like it has been in October, so we have a few months to find out exactlly when.

i dont know when it is this year but we went last year . it was great they called it wheel horse weekend but any brand was welcome the ride was about 45 minutes, and before the ride they gave out plaques for most unique , oldest , stuff like that . then the owner went around to people to get input to see how they could improve. i told him the boy wanted to go again and he said " by all means go , just dont run over the trees" oh and they gave everyone on the ride a "cry" towel that said " i survived the hensler trail ride" plus a coupon for free ice cream it was all free so all in all it was really cool
