dennist 139 #2 Posted May 25, 2012 Hello all. Glad someone recommended this site....lots go good info. Live in Gladys, VA. Have a 318-4 that I purchased new almost 12 years ago. Love it and won't part with it. Just a guess here, but since you state your favorite model is a 314-8, I am sure your numbers crossed above "318-4" I agree the 300 series is a great, simple to work on tractor that does about everything needed. Looks like a busy weekend for guys on here, so I will be first to say-Welcome to RS!

Roanoker494 0 #14 Posted June 11, 2012 Welcome to the site and it seems that we are not so far away from one another, I am around Rocky Mount about 50 miles from Gladys. There are several Heritage Festivals and Farm shows around the area if you ever have the urge to show off your Wheel Horse. I will be at several of them myself in the working chainsaw demos, hope to bring my 312-8 with me to the Campbell County show.

When and where is the Campbell County show held? It is a annual one day event on the first Saturday in August at the William Campbell Combined School, not far off RT 501. Even if you don't bring your tractor it is still worth coming to see everything. The Halifax County Festival is also a barrell of fun, it is held right behind the South Boston Speedway on the County Fairgrounds, but you have missed that one by a month or so.
