Lister Diesel

I supose I could have put this in the "engines" are...but to my knowledge WheelHorse never used a Lister ST series diesel.

So on to my question....

I was offered an "as new" Lister ST series single cylinder diesel engine today.

The price may or may not be right, so I'm curious is there a collector value for these engines?

I'm on to a "Pickers" type deal & thinking about doing a bundle deal with the Lister.

My goal would be to sell it & make a little on it....(we all do it)

Whats a 70ies era Lister ST series worth in new condition...?

Do to the overwhelming response.... , I'll assume Lister diesels are boat anchors.

I believe Bill Pierson used one on his 633 diesel?

There was the guy with all of the hot rod tractors last year at Scotts meet and greet. He had a tractor with a lister diesel in it and it seemed to run great. Jake

You're right.....now I have to try to remember where I saw a Lombardini diesel.

Ariens lawn tractors used a Lombardini 2 cylinder diesel for a year or so.

Listers are great engines, they are built like a tank. Could not tell you the value of one since they are so scarce.
