Wow, that's a very interesting looking :wh: ! Somebody got very creative with that one, they even put a recoil start on that K-341. :scared-eek: I wouldn't want to pull start that big ole Kohler!

Very interesting mod! Probably cheaper than buying a brand new deck from TORO/WH I suppose. I wonder why the shift lever is bent?

i have no idea what the pulley on the front is for. maybe he had a plow or something on it.

the shift lever is bent because he had an adjustable seat on it and he heated it and bent it so the seat would slide all the way forward.

he said it cut great.

OK YES it's mine. i have to go back and pick it up in ny. i'm not sure what i'm gonna do with it but i couldn't beat the price FREE!!!!!!!!!!!.

it does run and the engine was rebuilt 523hrs ago (he put the hour meter on when it was rebuilt). it was bored out and the crank was done too. he wanted as much power as he could get knowing he was gonna put the 50 inch deck on it. he's had it for 20+ years.

he now has a zero turn and wanted to get rid of this so i said SURE!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

I'd go pick up Frank for that price too! Make sure and post some more pics when you get him back to your laboratory or shop I mean! :ychain: Really, I like it, it kind of looks like some of my past creations. Some of which I still have. Maybe one of these days I'll dig up the courage to post some pics of them here, but no :wh:'s were hurt in my experiments, just those of the green, and yellow variety! :ROTF:

Naw thats an RC for sure, my dad went to Wisconsin a few years back to buy his boyhood tractor, and he won't let me drive it :banghead:

Actually we can never get it started when I go down for a visit.

well here's "frank" cleaned up.

the 50" deck is from a simplicity landlord tractor.

i still need to get a starter but i'm gonna try and fire it up with the pull start. wish me luck lol.

well so much for trying to start it with the pull start.

i can't get it to fire.

i'm thinking you need to be like "arnold" to start this thing with the pull start lol.

i think it needs more speed to crank over.

i cleaned the carb, tank, new fuel lines ect.

time to get a starter in there haha.

I see why you call it Frank, that one definitely looks like a monster.

Once it's fired up, I bet it'll sound like one too.

Cool tractor.
