But carb is a little different, it has a spring between the the throttle plate connection and where the throttle cable hooks-up. working tonight so I will take a picture of mine tommorrow afternoon to show you (and me). Nice Diagram Walfish, 305 I'll try to find some tig rod adound the shop first but I was wondering, would it be smart to replace the spring? wheelhorse656 20 #11 Posted May 23, 2012 Terry I would get the spring and the correct one tecumseh because it has a proper lenght and tension which help it work correctly, I have a linkage piece and the springs the springs are 2.50 and the linkage Ill throw in for free I have a couple of good used ones out in the barn....
