Prater 76 #1 Posted May 17, 2012 I have finally started working on the C125 that followed me home a while ago. The wiring harness is gone with some really jacked up homemade one in its place. The pto engagement is worn out but I think I have all the spares I need for it. The drive belt is wrong, the engine mounts are shot and the governer spring was gone, thats just a few issues. At least the deck looks good...LOL Is the drive belt the 7473? Anyone have a wiring harnes, or partial harness that would fit this C125? I could sure use one... Sparky-(Admin) 21,776 #2 Posted May 17, 2012 Thats the right belt for it. Nice to see another Black hood coming back to life, good luck with her. Mike.............
Martin 2,133 #3 Posted May 17, 2012 looks like youve got some work there with the harness.... if it were me i would make one from scratch using a wiring diagram. that is if you cant find a good used harness.... im beginning to think i should find myself a real blackhood for my next build...... the belt number 7473 shows in the ipl as correct for c85 c105 and c125..... Wheel-N-It 2,969 #5 Posted May 18, 2012 Yep, I would wire that one up from scratch. You should have it running in short order:)

bowtiebutler956 650 #8 Posted May 19, 2012 I can relate. One thing leads to another, until you just won't feel right unless you completely rebuild it. Gotta Love It! Matt :flags-texas:

SousaKerry 502 #13 Posted August 29, 2012 Looking good sure wish my fender pan looked that good finally had to give up on mine and replace it with steel
Prater 76 #14 Posted August 29, 2012 That fender pan is steel also, I actually like the steel pans better. Its not perfect since this will be a working mower I am just surface sanding for the new paint to stick to.

bowtiebutler956 650 #16 Posted August 30, 2012 Looking Good! I really like the look of tri-ribs on the front as well! Matt :flags-texas:
Prater 76 #17 Posted August 30, 2012 Those front tires are skinny. They were on the c-175 I picked up last year, they were pretty rusty but cleaned up good and just use a solid bushing. The bushing works out good since the spindles were worn out from bad bearings, the two spacers from the rear hitch were perfect for fitting the rims on the spindles. The rubber is the deestone tri-ribs off ebay.
