My C-175 that's my avitar pic is also my daily worker. As you can see It's a bit rough. So I tore it down for a little refreshing. Here's a pic of the before.

I don't know, it looks good to me. I especially like the custom pedal extension. :handgestures-thumbup:

Is it fair to ask about the human life form in the background? There HAS to be a story there somewhere.

Are you moving dirt with the plow? If so did you stiffen the springs?

Are you going to spray paint or powder coat?

How are the Ag tires working out front and back?

I have 4 C-175s, 3 are Auto and 1 is 8 speed.

Tunahead, the pedal extension was there when I got it. As for the human that's my son making a bridge across a creek. I know it doesn't look like it, but he is.

Yes I was moving dirt. My freinds bought a bunch of rentals on 10 acers and the previous owner would dump all the grass clippings and other

debris along the bank of the creek.

I'm going to paint and the ag tires are great. I have all four loaded with washer fluid plus the wheel weights there's not much that she won't push. As for the springs I haven't changed anything except the pitch of the plow.

Thanks for all the positive comments. She's not gonna be perfect since I work her almost every day. Today is some body filler and sanding then shooting some red. I need her up and trotting by Tuesday,Wednesday a the latest. She mowes my freinds rental property that has 15 units on 10 acers, 6 to 7 of it gets mowed atleast once a week sometimes twice. Talk about seer time. :happy-jumpeveryone: :happy-jumpeveryone:

Went to API ( auto body products inc. ) this morning and picked up some paint. Thought everyone would like this. It's MAE Acrylic Enamel in Wheel Horse Red. When I figured how much and how many rattle cans I would have to buy because I really don't like the harvester red. I got the paint, hardener, and reducer for $ 76.64 and I have enough to do one or two more tractors after this one.

I've never done a restoration myself, and I don't know a lot about these paints, so I'm just asking...

I noticed the revision date on this can is 2/13/2000. Is it possible this paint is the 1990-2007 version of Wheel Horse Red that Karl (nylyon) mentioned in the paint recommendations thread?

He pulled out his book and it listed two wheel horse reds. One spans from 1955 to 1989 and the second was from 1990 to 2007. I asked him and he said that he had to different paint codes. He even mixed up a sample of.each to show me.

Hopefully you have better luck with the Wheel Horse Red than I did. The first time I painted my 518 I used the "old" Wheel Horse Red. It didn't look quite right to me after it was dry and was faded within a couple months and looked terrible. I just tore it down this past winter and repainted it with IH Red and it looks closer to the original color than the Wheel Horse Red did.

After some body work and a couple coats of epoxy primer I was ready for paint. Shot the Omni wheel horse red by ppg today. Well that's enough chit chat, here's the pics.
