Here is one of our newest members with his new horse. He bought Big Jim's 1998 314-8 today. He too will soon be hooked.... Hope you enjoy that machine David ! It was nice meeting you and your 5 year old son today. I see a need for you to find a nice little round hood for him....

I just got a text from him and he said he went to suffield high and grad in 1989.

And that Doug is his cousin.

Got it home cleaned it up and tucked it away in the garage to give it some TLC in the morning. I am wondering your thoughts on a C160 hydro lift.

Great tractor with a 16hp kohler K series. If you are looking at the hydro make sure to really warm it up (10-15mins) and then drive it up steep hill to see if it is working proper. Check for leaks etc. I am partial to gear drives as there is less to go wrong. As you know I have several of both :hide:

Welcome to the Square David. You'll soon find out that there are a bunch of us here in CT. That is a nice tractor you picked up.

As far as C-160's go, find the cleanest one that you can. Make sure the hydro is strong, no smoke from the motor and no leaks. I owned one in the past and they are brutes, especially pushing heavy snow.
