I saw on North*** Tool a Torin ATV/Motorcycle/mower lift/workstand (even looks like WH Red!) for $89. has anyone purchased this or just use jack stands/creeper or homemade like I saw on a post a few months ago?

I have one like the Northern Tool jack and it works well for both my motorcycle and garden tractors. I think I got mine at Sam's Club about a decade ago for $50 but it looks the same. Harbor Freight has one for $99 and they always have 20% coupons in the snail mail ad fliers.

I've got one, actually I bought it from JimD.

I like it and use it all the time. Not only for lifting the tractor up, it works really well with a couple of bits of wood on the top of it for rolling a transmission off the back, and its also really handy to jack up to the right hieght and then you can slide a motor off the frame and straight onto the lift.

I also use it as a mobile short table, for example sit a motor on it and roll it out onto the driveway for cleaning etc.

Mines a Torin brand. If it died tomorrow I'd go buy another one tomorrow night.

About the only picture I can find of it in use:

I should add that I hardly ever leave a tractor on it for any length of time, Usually jack the tractor up and then sit it on jack stands, or a couple of short 2x4 stands that I made years ago.

My wife got me one at HF acouple years ago,Bless her hart !

Have about a 4 inch block for the top and I can sit on my little roll

around and do about anything I want on a tractor.

Wouldn't be without it. Really worth Its salt at my age.
