Road-Track 39 #27 Posted May 17, 2012 We never, ever used oil on the belts. You don't want the belt to slip. When I was 5 my job on the farm was to pour molasses on the spinning belt. We ran implements like silage blowers with the tractor running at full throttle with 40 ft belts.
