birdman_express 2 #1 Posted April 24, 2012 My name is Marc. I heard of this site from Rooster, whom I race mowers with. I have heard all sorts of stories from him about this site. I am a small engine repair guy, and was looking for some Kohler parts, and did a search, and I found a link to what I needed, and the link was based out of here. Even though I am not an avid tractor fan, and more along the lines of a lawn mower racing fanatic. I saw the potential of learning about old engines from this site. Plus my buddy Rooster is over here too. Who knows, I like the looks of some of the Wheel Horse tin, I may make a racer out of one. I have posted a pic of my mower, and here is a video of her in action.
neil 2,409 #2 Posted April 24, 2012 Hi Wekcome to redsquare from the UK Your lawmnmower racing looks real fun to do , what sort of speed can you get up to
birdman_express 2 #3 Posted April 24, 2012 Speed is dependent on track size, but speeds reaching 60 MPH are possible. I have been in the 50's range myself. But it's more about the people we meet at the races that makes it the most fun.

birdman_express 2 #17 Posted April 27, 2012 I've been to a few races in El Reno OK, as a spectator! The main groups I participate in, have not had the same classes in the past for that track, I go through OK City when I go race in Kansas. About twice a year.
