dennist 139 #8 Posted April 20, 2012 I don't know many guys, who would biuld a car like that, and use it for towing! He's my hero. Matt Yeah, He's in his 70's and came yesterday to check out the WH in a sports car. He agreed to buy and said he would return today with his trailer at 12:00, so at 11:50 this thing pulls in with the trailer? I was a little shocked that he would tow with it also, but he said with over 400 hp there is no problem. He has put over 40,000 miles on it since 2005, so he does drive it. neil 2,409 #12 Posted April 21, 2012 That is wicked, does he have plans to do something similar to the wheelhorse?
dennist 139 #13 Posted April 21, 2012 That is wicked, does he have plans to do something similar to the wheelhorse? No, he was just looking for a garden tractor and after seeing this one he is sending his boy over to pick up one of the other ones for sale. I love to deal with guys like this-He says he is going to show at 12:00 and he is here at that time. There are so many times when we have complaints with CL or other advertising media and it is nice to have guys that still say what they mean. He spent about an hour looking and talking about the tractors the day before he purchased it and then left very happy and said he would return the next day and purchase it. I learned he goes to many drag strips, he has been from Maine to Penn and all around with just that one, which I guess he has others he has built also, but he said he only uses scrap metal when he builds them and he likes the rough look. dennist 139 #15 Posted April 22, 2012 Dennis - off topic but that isn't your beloved 418 that you just sold is it????? I can't tell by the pics. No, Matt my 418 left with 3 others last Fall. The price was right and I was Very low on storage. I can never keep one....just for a short period of time. I get to enjoy them and always know they have another home down the road, I will always be a BIG fan of the 400 series though.
