Update on my new 161...

I got it running, runs o.k. but makes a big puff of smoke when I rev it up. The throttle shaft is wore (are those hard to fix?). It does move, I haven't actually driven it, but it moved a couple feet back and forth with no problem. I think I may rebuild it this fall/winter.

Normally the throttle shaft is loose because the carb body is worn. You can install bushings in the carb body and a new throttle shaft it's not difficult but you need patience and the right tools. A drill press makes the job go a lot easier.
