Shuboxlover 478 #1 Posted April 3, 2012 My newly acquiered C161 seems VERY easy to push. I've had enough of these "older" hydros to know that they push like an SOB even with the tow valve is open. I haven't checked this ones tow valve yet, but I must say it almost pushes as easy as an 8-speed. Does this mean I'm gonna have hydro issuse when I get it running, or have allllll the other ones I've had just push really hard?
oldredrider 2,549 #2 Posted April 3, 2012 Sounds like you've just gotten used to pushing hydros around! I wouldn't worry about it until you have to. All my hydros push pretty easily with the tow valve open. Try closing the valve and see how hard it is to push then.

Kelly 1,029 #4 Posted April 3, 2012 I've had a few that sat for years push fairly easy, I'd get it running and make sure the tow valve is closed before I worry, and work it hard when warm before putting much money in to the tractor.
